First Fishing Charter?
First time booking a fishing charter and not sure what to expect? What follows is a breakdown of the general process. If you know exactly the type of charter you would like, or maybe have an idea, but have a few questions before locking one in, give a call or send a text to 1 (941) 253-6512, or send an email to [email protected], and Jason’s wife Heather will help you begin the process of booking. We always suggest booking as soon as you can to make sure you get the days you are looking for.
Once you decide on the type of charter and days, for the fairness of all parties involved, we require a deposit of one third down to lock it in. This can be paid for via Venmo, PayPal, Square, or through the shop on our website. Note that the client can cancel up to 7 days prior to a trip and receive their deposit back. The deposit is not transferable to another date, unless due to weather. Any cancellations within 72 hours of a booked trip are at the sole discretion of Captain Jason Stock.
Within a few days of a charter, we will reach out via text to acknowledge that you still want a trip, set meeting times, and cover any possible adjustments needed to the trip due to expected weather. We can also cover any further questions you may have. (Further down on this page is a frequently asked questions section that can be useful on how to prepare.)
Unless otherwise determined, we will be meeting at Blenker’s Marina (2504 88th Street Ct NW
Bradenton, FL 34209) to launch for your trip. On the day of the trip, please be prepared to pay the balance of the charter cost. We accept Cash, Check, Venmo, PayPal, and Square payments. Our rates are cash price, we add a 3% fee for credit card payments. If you appreciated the service of any crew members on your charter, please remember they work for tips.
Now is where the fun begins! Captain Jason Stock does all he can to make for an enjoyable ride out (which will vary in length depending on the type of charter you booked). You can relax and enjoy Florida’s beautiful weather and water. Captain Jason handles all navigation, getting you to the spots and on the fish. Leaving you to experience the thrill of catching some of the Gulf of Mexico’s finest fish species.*
Once we get back to the marina from a day on the water, Captain Jason will clean all the fish brought back. At that point, we hope you enjoyed your day on the water and would consider booking again the next time you want to go on a fishing charter! If you caught an unforgettable fish that you want a replica of, ask the Captain about our partnership with Gray’s Taxidermy
*Please remember, when guiding a trip, Captain Jason Stock will do everything in his control to get you on the fish, unfortunately, he has no control over the bite, weather, or tides.
